Introduction
The Thomas B. Finan Center, a multi-purpose psychiatric facility operating 88 beds, is a primary inpatient component of the Maryland Department of Health servicing the citizens of Maryland. Specialized evaluation and treatment services are available for adult and geriatric psychiatric patients.

Main Purpose of Job
The main purpose of this position is to provide technical support to the pharmacists in providing efficient pharmaceutical care to all patients/residents admitted to either Finan Center or Willowbrook Square. This includes all ages of patients/residents served.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Candidates for this position must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the Maryland Board of Pharmacy, 4201 Patterson Avenue Baltimore, Maryland 21215.
- Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.
Special Requirements
Employees in this classification are subject to substance abuse testing in accordance with Code of Maryland Regulations 17.04.09, Testing for Illegal Use of Drugs.
