Duties
Under the general direction of the Vice-President is responsible for the assessment, planning, integration, and management of clinical pharmacy services and education; programs, services and regulatory oversight of clinical research performed throughout the St. Joseph's/Candler Health System (SJ/C); and pulmonary medicine services provided in SJ/C Hospitals. This responsibility crosses various business divisions within the System and is designed to ensure the efficient use of resources and the provision of a consistent level of quality in clinical pharmacy, pulmonary, and research care throughout the System. Additionally the Director participates in the development and oversight of specific programs like the Oncology Initiative at the direction of the Vice-President.
Education
Doctorate of Pharmacy - Required
Must have completed a postgraduate clinical pharmacy residency and/or fellowship.
Experience
5-7 Years - Required
Five to seven years in pharmacy management including clinical and ambulatory services; prior involvement in technical, undergraduate, and postgraduate pharmacy education; participation in and/or management of pharmaceutical research.
License & Certification
Professional License with State of Practice - Required
