The Medication Safety Officer has primary oversight of the system-wide medication safety program. Proactively develops and facilitates implementation of error-prevention strategies based on practice standards, national safety recommendations, and analysis of the organization's medication safety data. Ensures compliance with best practices identified by national organizations as it pertains to medication safety. Serve as an authoritative resource on medication safety for the organization and leads antimicrobial stewardship efforts. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values.
Education
Doctorate: Pharmacy (Required), Master's Degree: Business Administration/Management, Master's Degree: Healthcare Administration
