We are looking for a VP, Pharmacy Services, to play an important role at AndHealth.
What You’ll Do In The Role
Leadership and Team Management:
- Supervise community pharmacy leadership team and maintain strong relationships with team members at each site.
- Partner with other leaders and key stakeholders to deliver exceptional clinical services that meet patient needs.
Operational Management:
- Develop pharmacy site plans and ensure appropriate licensing, contracting, and inventory procurement.
- Manage inventory systems to ensure the acquisition of appropriate and the most cost-effective medications.
- Oversee ongoing pharmacy payment reconciliation, in coordination with the AndHealth finance team.
- Develop, maintain, and update all policies and procedures necessary to ensure appropriate operation of community pharmacy services.
- Oversees pharmacy processes required for the dispensing of retail prescriptions and DME.
- Manage the implementation and ongoing functionality of the pharmacy operating system.
Strategic Development:
- Develop a comprehensive strategy for implementing retail pharmacy services such as vaccinations, point-of-care testing, and medication therapy management.
- Continually work with the pharmacy team to identify areas for operational improvement and utilize appropriate change management processes to improve pharmacy efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for new and innovative service offers needed at each partner site, and work in collaboration with partnership team to prioritize and implement these opportunities.
Compliance and Auditing:
- Ensure pharmacy practice is consistent with all laws, rules, and regulations.
- Develop and maintain ongoing auditing mechanisms to ensure pharmacy compliance with federal, state, and local laws/rules and payor requirements.
Relationship management:
- Be a positive representative and ambassador of AndHealth with each partner, by understanding all AndHealth programs, partners’ important policies and procedures, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement to deliver a WOW partner experience.
- Collaborate closely with AndHealth and partners’ clinical teams to improve integration and continuity of care.
- In partnership with the Quality and Operations Infrastructure leader, identify, select, and maintain relationships with external wholesalers and vendors.
- Work with partners to develop and implement mechanisms to improve pharmacy capture and fill rates.
- Oversees the company’s community pharmacy operating budget.
Other Duties as assigned:
- Remain flexible and adaptable to take on additional responsibilities to support and grow AndHealth patient care and partnerships.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the organization’s mission and objectives while contributing to its success.
Education & Licensure Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree Required.
- Unrestricted Pharmacist license or Certified Pharmacy Technician, in good standing required.
- Must be willing to obtain and maintain licenses or certifications in multiple states.
Other Skills or Qualifications:
- 6+ years of pharmacy operations experience is required.
- 5+ years of community pharmacy experience is strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of management experience is preferred; some management experience is required.
- Some specialty pharmacy experience, preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing or providing services within Community Health centers or the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program, including knowledge of federal guidelines and reporting requirements.
- The position may require travel. Must be willing to travel to the AndHealth headquarters on a semi-regular basis and have reliable transportation.

Additional Requirements:
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months.
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity.
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving.
- Hep B3 Series.
- (Flu) Influenza required.
- COVID Vaccine required.
